After School Activities

Extra-Curricular Opportunities

Participation in activities beyond the classroom gives students the opportunity to learn and develop new skills and abilities. The GEMS US extra-curricular activity options meet the needs of different students and are provided by teachers and specialists.

Stay n' Play - For our younger Kindergarten students, parents have the option to enroll their child in an after school stay n' play program where children have the opportunity for unstructured play with their peers. This gives students the freedom to play activities they enjoy and enhance physical movement while using playground equipment. The Stay n' Play program is offered from 12:30pm-1:30pm for Pre-KG and 2:30-3:30pm for KG1 students.

After-School Activities (ASAs) - Our ASA program is offered to students from Grade 1 upward and involves a wide range of opportunities led by faculty and external providers.

After-school activities play an important role in a student’s school life, as the social and emotional skills they often develop through these activities are linked to their interest in school. These programs are not mandatory, but we highly encourage students to participate in them as they are areas not strictly developed in the classroom, but add value to individual competency.
